WINDSOR CASTLE And THE VENUS GARDEN

Windsor Castle is the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world with 40 monarchs calling it home since William the Conqueror founded it in the 11th century. Access the luxurious State Apartments including Queen Elizabeth's favoured ceremonial rooms, Charles II's historic rooms and George IV's private apartments. 

See the gold laden Grand Reception Room, Henry VIII armour in the Lantern Lobby, paintings by Holbein and Van Dyck, Queen Mary's Dolls' House. This summer, visitors to Windsor Castle can also walk through a newly designed garden as part of their visit. 

The Venus Garden, originally created by George IV in the 1820s, sits beneath the famous east side of Windsor Castle. Formerly known as the East Terrace Garden, it has been transformed according to His Majesty the King’s vision
